NAET; Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique
A revolutionary technique to eliminate allergies permanently from the body towards the
treated allergen. Developed by Dr Devi S Nambudripad in 1983 and practiced by over 4,500
medical practitioners worldwide. This technique is completely natural, non-invasive, it
does not use needles and is drug free. It has been effectively used in treating all types
of allergies and problems arising from allergies in one day old infants to those in advanced years.
It is taught by Dr Nambudripad in California, USA
to currently licensed medical practitioners. Helen has trained with Dr Devi Nambudripad as instructor and assists in training and recertifying other NAET Practitioners. This testing & treatment is available with Helen and Carolyn.
Allergy assessment
Involves a complete medical history, physical symptoms, observation of mental status, face, skin, eyes, colour,
posture, movements, gait, tongue, scars, blood pressure, pulse, skin temperature. Neuromuscular sensitivity testing is conducted to compare the strength of a predetermined muscle in the presence
and absence of a suspected allergen. The muscles are weaker when holding a computer
generated copy of the allergens magnetic field. One person is seen at one time in the treatment
room unless invalids, children or babies are treated. Before coming to the clinic it is important
to shower or bathe and not to wear perfumes or jewellery.
Treatment
Treatment is completed by acupressure down the spine whilst holding a vial of the allergen. Do
not eat or chew gum during the treatment.
For 6 hours after the treatment do not exercise, shower or bathe and avoid extreme temperatures.
For 25 hours after the treatment you need to avoid the allergen to which you have been treated.
What can be treated?
Not just hayfever! When in the presence of an allergen blockages in the meridians occurs,
this disrupts the normal energy flow in the body The energy blockage causes interference in
the communication between the brain and the body, this is often the first step in developing
an allergic response. Many of the chronic illnesses today are due to allergies, many unexplained
symptoms may be due to a sensitivity or intolerance to food & drink, or something in the environment such as
computer screen radiation or wood, or, even an autoimmune response giving rise to long term illness –
all of which can be treated with NAET.
Treatments are given for the sensitivity to inhalants, ingestants, contactants, injectants,
infectants, physical agents, molds & fungi, also genetic causes and emotional stressors.
Treament for any ailment may benefit from NAET.
How long does treatment take?
As with other Naturopathic treatments up to two hours for the first consultation, then up
to one hour for follow up appointments. The number of treatments varies with the type of
complaint, how long it has been established, medical history and the general level of health
of the person. Fifteen basic allergens are usually treated initially from weekly to monthly
intervals.
